Live counts. Crawlers sweep daily across public repos, the AI app builders and the public app catalogues; every tracked app is classified and joins the field.
Everything shipped counts — a weekend clone and a twenty-year-old incumbent sit in the same table. Each entry carries two labels: how it was built, and who stands behind it. Unlabelled is a common and honest answer.
Read the cluster count as a map of where ideas crowd, not a census — most apps sit in no cluster, and the groups are redrawn from scratch every night.
