Whitespace runs a Model Context Protocol server, so Claude, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any other MCP-speaking client can query the index directly — no browser tab, no copy-pasting a query into a search box. Ask from inside the conversation you're already having.

What it reads is the whole index: AI-builder deploys, public repos and the public app catalogues, every entry labelled by how it was built and who stands behind it.

`check_idea`	Check whether an app idea already exists, who built the closest matches, how alive they are, and what's missing.
`list_clusters`	Browse the discovered product clusters, sorted by size or recency. Paged — every response carries the index total.
`get_cluster`	Full detail on one cluster: summary, timeline, its members a page at a time, positioning gaps.
`search_products`	Filter individual products by traction, provenance, category, platform and liveness. Paged, with the full match count.
`get_trends`	The monthly trends newsletter — new entries, fastest-growing clusters, staleness. Omit the month to list what is available.
`get_index_stats`	Headline numbers for the whole index: size, classified count, cluster count, staleness, last indexer activity.
